Return Policy
We stand behind every product we sell. Here is exactly what we accept, what we don't, and who pays for shipping.
What we accept
- Defective products — a fault during normal use within the warranty period.
- Dead on arrival (DOA) — a unit that fails to power on or function on first use.
- Wrong product shipped by us — we cover return shipping and send the correct product at no charge.
- Ordered the wrong item, or no longer need it — you can return it within 30 days of delivery as long as it is unused, undamaged and in its original packaging with all accessories. You pay the return shipping; we refund the product once it passes inspection.
Not eligible for a wrong-choice or change-of-mind return
- Products that have been installed, used in production, or modified.
- Products returned damaged, incomplete, or without their original packaging and accessories.
- Items sent back without a Return Authorization (RA) number — these are refused at our receiving dock.
These conditions do not limit a claim for a defect that appears during normal use within the applicable warranty period. Contact us for warranty return instructions.
How to start a return
- For a wrong-choice or change-of-mind return, contact us within 30 days of delivery. For a defect claim, contact us during the applicable warranty period. Email info@upsplusbattery.com or 438-881-3363, with your order number, the product SKU, and the reason (defect symptoms, or "ordered in error").
- We issue a Return Authorization (RA) number and shipping instructions.
- Follow the return instructions and mark the RA number on the outside of the box. Wrong-choice and change-of-mind returns require the original packaging and all accessories. For warranty claims, we will confirm the packaging required to return the unit safely.
After we receive the product
- We inspect the unit.
- Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method, or replaced if you prefer, within 5 business days of inspection.
- For a defect claim where the unit is found to be in working order, we return it to you at your expense and no refund is issued.
Who pays return shipping
- Confirmed DOA, defective, or shipped-in-error by us: we do — we provide a prepaid label.
- If our product page stated that the product fits your exact UPS model and that fit was wrong, we pay return shipping with a prepaid label and provide the correct replacement or a refund, at your choice.
- Ordered in error or no longer needed: you do.
Warranty
- Replacement batteries: 1-year UPSPLUSBATTERY warranty against defects, handled in Canada.
- Refurbished UPS units: 1-year UPSPLUSBATTERY warranty, handled in Canada.
- New UPS units and accessories: the manufacturer's applicable warranty.
