The rugged compact housing withstands demanding conditions and integrates seamlessly and securely into electrical enclosures in any non-traditional IT environment. Ideal for Factory Floors and Extreme Temperatures Get full use of the DIN24240DC's power capacity because there is no derating based on its operating temperature range of -15 °C (5 °F) to 50 °C (122 °F), which expands the number of locations in which it can be used. Built to fit into small spaces, the DIN24240DC is a UL 508 recognized component for use in industrial panels. Its pre-installed clamp enables quick mounting to a 35 mm DIN rail. Its fanless design reduces noise and increases reliability. Reliable Battery Backup Keeps You Operational Through Power Outages Power outages not only drain productivity from the factory floor, but they also damage expensive equipment. The DIN24240DC protects productivity by providing enough runtime to maintain operation during a brief power outage and protects equipment by allowing it to complete an operation during an extended outage. It also prevents brownouts, overvoltages, surges and line noise from damaging equipment that could destroy data and contribute to costly downtime. Stay in Control of Your Operation LEDs on the front panel confirm normal operation and indicate alarm or fault status. Remote on/off can help you avoid maintenance surprises. The DIN24240DC has dry contacts for battery status and UPS communication. Easy Preventative Maintenance and Initial Troubleshooting The DIN24240DC requires connection of the BPDIN24XL external battery module (sold separately). Up to four battery modules can be connected to extend backup runtime. The self-test capability can extend the life of the UPS and minimize disruption to operations. |

How do I know this UPS will run my equipment?
Add up the wattage draw of every device you'll plug in (servers, switches, monitors). The UPS's wattage rating — not VA — is the number that matters. Aim for the UPS to run at 60–70% of capacity at full load: this gives headroom for inrush current and a meaningful runtime margin. Email us your equipment list and we'll size the right UPS within one business hour.
What's covered by the warranty, and how long does it last?
New units carry the full manufacturer warranty registered to you on receipt. The manufacturer handles claims directly via their North American support channel. Refurbished units are covered by our own 1-year UPSPLUSBATTERY warranty handled in-house in Canada.
Can I extend runtime beyond what's shown above?
Many Smart-UPS-class models accept an external battery pack (XBP) connected to the rear battery port. If this UPS shows "Extended Runtime Capable: Yes" in the spec grid above, an XBP is supported.
