Replacement battery cartridges for Tripp Lite Omni Series UPS, the standby and line-interactive UPS line for desktops, networking equipment, and small-office IT. Models supported include Omni 300, Omni 350, Omni 450, Omni 500, Omni 600, Omni 650, Omni 700, Omni 750B LAN, Omni 850, Omni 900, Omni 1000, Omni 1050, Omni 1500, plus OmniPro 300, OmniPro 450, OmniPro 650, OmniPro 1050, OmniPro 1400, OmniPro 1500, and OM-prefixed legacy models (OM350, OM450, OM625, OM1000, OM1995).

Omni cartridges are typically 12V 7-9Ah SLA cells in 1-cell, 2-cell, or 4-cell configurations depending on capacity. Most Omni units use Tripp Lite RBC-equivalent cartridge codes (RBC51, RBC52, RBC92), always check the existing battery label before ordering. Newer Omni-LCD revisions added simulated sinewave output.

Recommended swap interval: 3-5 years per IEEE 1188. Many Omni units in this catalog are 10+ year-old SOHO deployments, if you're upgrading, consider migrating to current Tripp Lite by Eaton 5SC, OmniSmart, or SmartPro platforms. Validate runtime before swap.

The Tripp Lite Omni line, OmniSmart, OmniVS and OmniPlus, is a line-interactive UPS range for desktops, point-of-sale and small-office gear. Battery type

Most Omni models (for example OMNI1000LCD, OMNISMART700/750, OMNIVSX1000) use a single 12 V 9 Ah VRLA battery. Some compact models use a smaller 6 V or lower-Ah cell, and larger units use two batteries, so match by your exact model number rather than by VA alone.

How to identify the right battery

Find the model number on the bottom or rear label (e.g. OMNI1000LCD). Select the matching battery below, or send us your model number and we'll confirm the correct battery.

OEM vs compatible aftermarket

Compatible aftermarket 12 V 9 Ah batteries use the same form factor and F2 terminals, with a 1-year UPSPLUSBATTERY warranty.

How long does it last?

How to replace

Omni batteries are user-replaceable:

  1. Confirm the correct battery for your model.
  2. Power down the UPS if your model's manual requires it, and unplug the load.
  3. Open the battery cover on the base or rear.
  4. Disconnect the old battery's tabs and remove it.
  5. Fit the new battery, reconnect the tabs (observe polarity), and close the cover.
  6. Run a self-test.
