UPSPlusBattery helps you dispose of your old UPS batteries responsibly. Lead-acid (VRLA/SLA) UPS batteries are recyclable and should never go to landfill — they contain lead and acid that must be handled under Canadian environmental regulations.
How it works
- When we deliver or install your replacement batteries, we can take the old ones back for recycling.
- Returning a small quantity on its own? Ask us about a return option when you place your order.
- Larger sites and fleets: we coordinate bulk battery pickup and provide recycling documentation for your records.
Why it matters
- Keeps lead and acid out of landfill.
- Helps you meet workplace and municipal disposal obligations.
- Recycling paperwork available on request for institutional and government sites.
Please note: we recycle old batteries as a service — we do not purchase used batteries or offer trade-in credit.
