Alpha Technologies ALI Plus and ALI Elite UPS protect networking and industrial loads, in tower, rackmount and multi-mount form (typically 700–1000 VA). Battery type

The ALI Plus and ALI Elite line is built on 12 V 7.2 Ah VRLA batteries; the number of batteries scales with the model (RM, T, XL and multi-mount variants). Match the battery to your exact model and Alpha part number (e.g. ALI Elite 1000RM, 017-747-61) rather than by VA alone.

How to replace

1. Confirm the correct battery for your model and part number.
2. Power down the UPS if your manual requires it.
3. Open the battery compartment or release the tray.
4. Disconnect the old batteries and remove them.
5. Fit the new batteries, reconnect observing polarity, and close up.
6. Recharge and run a self-test.
