How we refurbish Symmetra modules
Power modules
Each power module is bench-tested under load on a calibrated electronic load bank. Inverter sine purity, internal-bus capacitor health, fan operation, and module-bus communication all verified. Capacitors are typically replaced on legacy SYPM modules where the original electrolytics have aged past 7–10 years.
Battery modules
Battery modules are stripped, the SLA cells replaced with new factory-spec cells (matched on V, Ah, and terminal), and reassembled into the original module housing. Symmetra modules are tightly tied to specific frame revisions. A SYPM4KP power module fits Symmetra LX 4–16 kVA frames but does not fit Symmetra RM frames or Symmetra PX. Confirm:

- Frame revision (some modules require Rev B or later firmware on the host frame).

Installation
