Common questions
Can I still get parts and batteries for a Symmetra PX?
Yes: battery units, power modules (including tested refurbished SYPM10KF) and intelligence modules remain available, and we support existing frames with supply and installation. Retiring a frame? We also buy back working modules.
How does N+1 work on the PX?
Populate one power module beyond the load requirement: any single module can fail or be hot-swapped while the remaining modules carry the load, no shutdown, no transfer to bypass.
New frame or keep the existing one alive?
If the frame and wiring are sound, refreshing batteries and modules is a fraction of replacement cost. When the load has outgrown the frame, we quote the modern equivalent with trade-in on your old modules.
Do you deliver a working system or boxes?
A working system: freight, rigging, licensed electrical work, module population, battery configuration and commissioning in one turnkey quote. We do the hard work.
How do pricing and lead time work on three-phase systems?
Three-phase systems are quoted, not carted: pricing depends on configuration, batteries, freight class and installation scope. Send the requirement and you get a firm, itemized quote, and honest availability for each option before you commit.
Do you supply and install outside major cities?
Yes: supply, freight and installation are coordinated wherever the site is, through our network of licensed electricians and riggers. Remote and industrial sites are quoted with site logistics included.

Questions before you buy
How do I know this UPS will run my equipment?
Add up the wattage draw of every device you'll plug in (servers, switches, monitors). The UPS's wattage rating (not VA) is the number that matters. Aim for the UPS to run at 60 to 70% of capacity at full load: this gives headroom for inrush current and a meaningful runtime margin. Email us your equipment list; we'll respond within one business day with sizing guidance.
What's covered by the warranty, and how long does it last?
New units carry the warranty coverage stated by the manufacturer; see the product listing or manufacturer documentation for the applicable terms. Refurbished units are covered by the 1-year UPSPLUSBATTERY warranty handled in Canada.
Can I extend runtime beyond what's shown above?
Many Smart-UPS-class models accept an external battery pack (XBP) connected to the rear battery port. If this UPS shows "Extended Runtime Capable: Yes" in the spec grid above, an XBP is supported. Compatible XBPs and the runtime gain they deliver vary by model; contact us if you don't see the right XBP in our catalogue.
