How the 9355 compares

Fixed-capacity and battle-proven where the 93PM is modular and growth-oriented; against the 93E it trades a little price for a deeper installed base and accessory ecosystem. Undecided between families? Start from the three-phase UPS family guide.

Runtime & expansion — batteries, cabinets, bypass

The 9355 uses internal battery strings, with extended-runtime versions and external battery cabinets available per rating. Maintenance bypass panels (below, in stock) let a technician service or swap the UPS without dropping the load — the piece most buyers forget until installation day.

Turnkey: from quote to running system

  1. Tell us the requirement — model or just load, runtime and site details.
  2. One configured quote — UPS, batteries/cabinets, bypass, freight, installation and commissioning together.
  3. We do the hard work — logistics, rigging, licensed electricians, startup, and preventive maintenance afterward. Replacing equipment? We buy back working units.

Common questions

What kVA ratings does the Eaton 9355 come in?

The 9355 family spans roughly 10 to 40 kVA in three-phase tower format, with standard and extended-battery versions at each rating. Tell us your load and we quote the right rating with batteries and bypass included.

Is the Eaton 9355 still supported?

The 9355 has a very large installed base and batteries, bypass panels and service remain available. For new deployments we can quote the 9355's successors as well and compare them on price and footprint.

Do I need a maintenance bypass panel?

Strongly recommended on any three-phase UPS: it lets technicians isolate the UPS for battery replacement or service while utility power carries the load. We stock 9355 MBP panels for the 10/15 and 20/30 kVA frames.

Can you handle delivery, installation and startup?

Yes — this is a turnkey supply: freight, rigging, electrical installation through licensed electricians, commissioning and battery configuration. You get one quote covering all of it; we do the hard work.

How do pricing and lead time work on three-phase systems?

Three-phase systems are quoted, not carted: pricing depends on configuration, batteries, freight class and installation scope. Send the requirement and you get a firm, itemized quote — and honest availability for each option before you commit.

Do you supply and install outside major cities?

Yes — supply, freight and installation are coordinated wherever the site is, through our network of licensed electricians and riggers. Remote and industrial sites are quoted with site logistics included.

Frequently asked

Before you order

How do I know this UPS will run my equipment?

Add up the wattage draw of every device you'll plug in (servers, switches, monitors). The UPS's wattage rating — not VA — is the number that matters. Aim for the UPS to run at 60–70% of capacity at full load: this gives headroom for inrush current and a meaningful runtime margin. Email us your equipment list and we'll size the right UPS within one business hour.

What's covered by the warranty, and how long does it last?

New units carry the full manufacturer warranty registered to you on receipt. The manufacturer handles claims directly via their North American support channel. Refurbished units are covered by our own 1-year UPSPLUSBATTERY warranty handled in-house in Canada.

Can I extend runtime beyond what's shown above?

Many Smart-UPS-class models accept an external battery pack (XBP) connected to the rear battery port. If this UPS shows "Extended Runtime Capable: Yes" in the spec grid above, an XBP is supported. Compatible XBPs and the runtime gain they deliver vary by model — contact us if you don't see the right XBP in our catalogue.
