How the 93E compares

Eaton's value line: the straightforward choice when the load is known and stable — the 93PM earns its premium only when growth or N+1 is on the roadmap. Undecided between families? Start from the three-phase UPS family guide.

Runtime & expansion — batteries, cabinets, bypass

Runtime extends with matched external battery cabinets — the stocked 9EZAAB cabinet adds two battery strings. Multiple cabinets can be combined for longer holds; we size the string count from your actual load and runtime target.

Turnkey: from quote to running system

  1. Tell us the requirement — model or just load, runtime and site details.
  2. One configured quote — UPS, batteries/cabinets, bypass, freight, installation and commissioning together.
  3. We do the hard work — logistics, rigging, licensed electricians, startup, and preventive maintenance afterward. Replacing equipment? We buy back working units.

Common questions

How long will an Eaton 93E run on battery?

It depends on load and battery configuration: internal strings give minutes at full load, and each matched external cabinet extends the hold. Give us your load in kW and target runtime — we return the exact cabinet count.

Is the 93E double-conversion online?

Yes — full double-conversion topology with three-phase input and output, protecting against outages, sags, swells and frequency events, not just blackouts.

What does turnkey supply include?

Freight and rigging to your site, electrical installation by licensed electricians, commissioning, battery cabinet configuration and disposal of replaced equipment where needed. One quote covers the project; we do the hard work.

93E or 93PM?

The 93E is a fixed-capacity value line; the 93PM is modular and scales in-place. Stable loads at a known kVA favour the 93E's price point; growth or N+1 requirements favour the 93PM.

How do pricing and lead time work on three-phase systems?

Three-phase systems are quoted, not carted: pricing depends on configuration, batteries, freight class and installation scope. Send the requirement and you get a firm, itemized quote — and honest availability for each option before you commit.

Do you supply and install outside major cities?

Yes — supply, freight and installation are coordinated wherever the site is, through our network of licensed electricians and riggers. Remote and industrial sites are quoted with site logistics included.

Frequently asked

Before you order

How do I know this UPS will run my equipment?

Add up the wattage draw of every device you'll plug in (servers, switches, monitors). The UPS's wattage rating — not VA — is the number that matters. Aim for the UPS to run at 60–70% of capacity at full load: this gives headroom for inrush current and a meaningful runtime margin. Email us your equipment list and we'll size the right UPS within one business hour.

What's covered by the warranty, and how long does it last?

New units carry the full manufacturer warranty registered to you on receipt. The manufacturer handles claims directly via their North American support channel. Refurbished units are covered by our own 1-year UPSPLUSBATTERY warranty handled in-house in Canada.

Can I extend runtime beyond what's shown above?

Many Smart-UPS-class models accept an external battery pack (XBP) connected to the rear battery port. If this UPS shows "Extended Runtime Capable: Yes" in the spec grid above, an XBP is supported. Compatible XBPs and the runtime gain they deliver vary by model — contact us if you don't see the right XBP in our catalogue.
