Where the Galaxy VS fits
How the Galaxy VS compares
Schneider's modern mid-range: compact, efficient, smart-battery-equipped — the default quote in the 10–100 kVA class, with the Easy UPS 3S beneath it on price and the Galaxy VM above it on scale. Undecided between families? Start from the three-phase UPS family guide.
Runtime & expansion — batteries, cabinets, bypass
Galaxy VS runtime scales with smart modular battery strings — internal on B-suffixed models, external cabinets beyond that. The stocked GVSBTHU smart battery module is the field-replaceable building block.
- GVSBTHU 9Ah smart battery module — in stock — field-replaceable battery building block
- Internal battery strings (B2/B3/B4/B5 configs) — choose at purchase — B-count sets runtime (quote it)
- External battery cabinets — for extended runtime targets, quoted (quote it)
Turnkey: from quote to running system
- Tell us the requirement — model or just load, runtime and site details.
- One configured quote — UPS, batteries/cabinets, bypass, freight, installation and commissioning together.
- We do the hard work — logistics, rigging, licensed electricians, startup, and preventive maintenance afterward. Replacing equipment? We buy back working units.
Common questions
What do the Galaxy VS model suffixes mean?
The GVSUPS reference encodes rating and battery configuration — the B-number reflects internal battery strings (more strings, more runtime), F/G voltage class, R runtime-optimized frames. Send your load and runtime target and we translate it into the right reference.
Can the Galaxy VS do N+1?
Yes — the platform supports internal redundancy configurations on several frames, and parallel operation for larger designs. We quote redundancy options with the base unit.
Do you stock Galaxy VS batteries?
Yes — the GVSBTHU smart battery module is stocked, and battery strings and cabinets are quoted with each system so runtime is engineered, not guessed.
Is installation included?
Turnkey is our default: freight, rigging, licensed electrical installation, commissioning and battery configuration in one quote. We do the hard work — you get a running system.
How do pricing and lead time work on three-phase systems?
Three-phase systems are quoted, not carted: pricing depends on configuration, batteries, freight class and installation scope. Send the requirement and you get a firm, itemized quote — and honest availability for each option before you commit.
Do you supply and install outside major cities?
Yes — supply, freight and installation are coordinated wherever the site is, through our network of licensed electricians and riggers. Remote and industrial sites are quoted with site logistics included.

Before you order
How do I know this UPS will run my equipment?
Add up the wattage draw of every device you'll plug in (servers, switches, monitors). The UPS's wattage rating — not VA — is the number that matters. Aim for the UPS to run at 60–70% of capacity at full load: this gives headroom for inrush current and a meaningful runtime margin. Email us your equipment list and we'll size the right UPS within one business hour.
What's covered by the warranty, and how long does it last?
New units carry the full manufacturer warranty registered to you on receipt. The manufacturer handles claims directly via their North American support channel. Refurbished units are covered by our own 1-year UPSPLUSBATTERY warranty handled in-house in Canada.
Can I extend runtime beyond what's shown above?
Many Smart-UPS-class models accept an external battery pack (XBP) connected to the rear battery port. If this UPS shows "Extended Runtime Capable: Yes" in the spec grid above, an XBP is supported. Compatible XBPs and the runtime gain they deliver vary by model — contact us if you don't see the right XBP in our catalogue.
