Runtime lives in modular VRLA battery strings (the stocked GVMMBTU kit) housed in matching cabinets — string count is engineered from your load and hold-time target. Battery refresh on installed VM systems is a stocked, scheduled job.

What does a Galaxy VM project involve beyond the UPS?
Freight and rigging (these are heavy systems), electrical room preparation, battery cabinet installation, licensed connection, startup and load testing. Our quote covers the project, not just the crate.
Are batteries for existing Galaxy VM systems available?
Yes — the GVMMBTU modular string kit is stocked, and full-string refreshes on installed VM systems are quoted with scheduled, hitless-as-possible execution.
Galaxy VM or Galaxy VS?
Different scales: VS covers 10–100 kVA in a compact footprint; VM picks up from 160 kVA for room-scale loads. If you're between them, send the load profile — the economics usually decide.
Can you decommission the system being replaced?
Yes — removal, environmentally compliant battery recycling, and buyback credit for working hardware are quoted in the same project.
How do pricing and lead time work on three-phase systems?
Three-phase systems are quoted, not carted: pricing depends on configuration, batteries, freight class and installation scope. Send the requirement and you get a firm, itemized quote — and honest availability for each option before you commit.
Do you supply and install outside major cities?
Yes — supply, freight and installation are coordinated wherever the site is, through our network of licensed electricians and riggers. Remote and industrial sites are quoted with site logistics included.

Before you order
How do I know this UPS will run my equipment?
Add up the wattage draw of every device you'll plug in (servers, switches, monitors). The UPS's wattage rating — not VA — is the number that matters. Aim for the UPS to run at 60–70% of capacity at full load: this gives headroom for inrush current and a meaningful runtime margin. Email us your equipment list and we'll size the right UPS within one business hour.
What's covered by the warranty, and how long does it last?
New units carry the full manufacturer warranty registered to you on receipt. The manufacturer handles claims directly via their North American support channel. Refurbished units are covered by our own 1-year UPSPLUSBATTERY warranty handled in-house in Canada.
Can I extend runtime beyond what's shown above?
Many Smart-UPS-class models accept an external battery pack (XBP) connected to the rear battery port. If this UPS shows "Extended Runtime Capable: Yes" in the spec grid above, an XBP is supported. Compatible XBPs and the runtime gain they deliver vary by model — contact us if you don't see the right XBP in our catalogue.
