The field-replaceable, hot-swappable internal battery provides eight minutes of support at half load (550W) and two minutes at full load (1100W), allowing you to work through short power failures and giving you enough time to safely save files and shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout.
Optional WEBCARDLX Network Interface Offers 24/7 Remote Access for Monitoring and Control
The optional WEBCARDLX (sold separately) with the latest version of PowerAlert ® Device Manager firmware (PADM20) provides enhanced remote management capabilities, including customizable dashboard graphs to fit user preferences. The PADM20 upgrade and Tripp Lite's PowerAlert Element Manager (PAEM) software form a powerful tool for expanding maintenance functions in large installations, including firmware update checks and backup and restoration of device configurations.

AVR protects your equipment from incremental hardware damage, data loss and performance problems caused by brownouts. The SMC1500RT1U maintains regulated 120V nominal output during brownouts as low as 90V, while keeping the battery fully charged and ready to take over in case of power failure.

How do I know this UPS will run my equipment?
Add up the wattage draw of every device you'll plug in (servers, switches, monitors). The UPS's wattage rating — not VA — is the number that matters. Aim for the UPS to run at 60–70% of capacity at full load: this gives headroom for inrush current and a meaningful runtime margin. Email us your equipment list and we'll size the right UPS within one business hour.
What's covered by the warranty, and how long does it last?
New units carry the full manufacturer warranty registered to you on receipt. The manufacturer handles claims directly via their North American support channel. Refurbished units are covered by our own 1-year UPSPLUSBATTERY warranty handled in-house in Canada.
Can I extend runtime beyond what's shown above?
