Replacement batteries for the Eaton Powerware PW9125 UPS line, matched by exact model and shipped from our Canadian warehouse. Find your unit below, confirm the model on the rating label, and order the correct battery kit.
The Eaton Powerware PW9125 is a single-phase online (double-conversion) UPS family ranging from roughly 700 VA up to 6000 VA. Every PW9125 runs on sealed lead-acid (VRLA/AGM) batteries, and the units in this collection are the replacement kits matched to specific PW9125 models. When the runtime on your UPS drops, or it reports a battery fault, replacing the internal batteries restores full backup time without replacing the whole unit.
The PW9125 does not use one large battery. Instead it strings together individual 12-volt sealed lead-acid blocks in series to reach the DC bus voltage the inverter needs. Smaller models use a handful of 12V blocks; larger models use more, and some external battery modules (EBMs) add additional strings for extended runtime. Because the block count and the amp-hour rating differ from model to model, the correct kit is determined by your exact UPS model — not by a single universal spec. The product grid shows the voltage and amp-hours for each kit so you can confirm before you buy.
Do not order by capacity (VA) alone. Two units with the same VA rating can take different battery counts or amp-hour ratings. Read the rating label on the rear or underside of your UPS and match the full model string, including suffixes such as -i, -E, -EH, -EU, -U, -g, -HW, and -FC (for example, PW9125-3000EU versus PW9125-3000U). Match that exact string to the product title in this collection. If your unit uses an external battery module, that module is replaced separately.
The PW9125 ships from the factory with sealed lead-acid blocks. Genuine Eaton-branded replacement packs are available but carry a premium. The batteries sold here are high-quality aftermarket SLA replacements built to the same voltage, amp-hour, terminal, and form-factor specifications, so they drop into the same trays and reuse your existing wiring harnesses and fuses. Aftermarket SLA blocks are a standard, compatible replacement for this chemistry; reuse the original harness and fuse links when you swap them in.
Sealed lead-acid UPS batteries typically last 3 to 5 years in normal conditions. Heat is the biggest enemy: as a rule of thumb, every 8°C of sustained temperature above 25°C roughly halves battery life. A UPS in a hot closet or near other heat-producing equipment will need batteries sooner than one in a cool, ventilated room. Plan a proactive replacement around the 3-year mark in warm environments, and always replace the entire string at once rather than mixing old and new blocks.
How do I know which battery my PW9125 needs?
Match the full model string on your UPS rating label to a product title in this collection. The product page lists the voltage and amp-hours for that kit.
Why do some kits show 9Ah and others 7.2Ah?
Eaton specified different SLA blocks across the PW9125 line depending on the model and runtime target. Always confirm the amp-hours shown on the product that matches your exact model rather than assuming.
Can I replace just one bad battery?
No. Always replace the whole string at once. Mixing an old block with new ones overloads the new batteries and shortens the life of the entire pack.
Can I hot-swap the batteries?
The PW9125 supports hot-swappable external battery modules (EBMs), which can be replaced without interrupting the protected load. The internal battery pack is different: treat it as a powered-down replacement and power the unit off first unless your specific model's manual states the internal batteries are user-replaceable while running. When in doubt, power down and follow your electrical-safety procedures.
How long will the new batteries last?
Typically 3 to 5 years, shorter in hot environments. Heat roughly halves life for every 8°C above 25°C.

Replacement batteries for the Eaton Powerware PW9125 online double-conversion UPS line — 1000VA through 6000VA models commonly deployed in Canadian data centres, server rooms, and industrial sites. The PW9125 series (later rebranded under Eaton ownership) remains widely deployed and supported.
If your PW9125 is mid-life, battery-only replacement is usually right. If past 8–10 years and showing capacitor degradation, consider upgrading to the modern Eaton 9PX line for better remote monitoring, lithium-ion option (9PX-Li), and longer service life. See our single-phase smart UPS comparison.
After replacement, calibrate via Eaton IPM (Intelligent Power Manager) so the PW9125 accurately reports runtime on the new pack — see our UPS battery calibration guide.
