Is Powerware still made?

No. Eaton acquired Powerware in 2003 and rebranded the catalog. Modern equivalents: PW5115 → Eaton 5E / 5P, PW9120 → Eaton 9SX / 9PX, BladeUPS → 93PM modular.

Can I still get OEM Powerware replacement batteries?

For most pre-2010 SKUs, no. Aftermarket built to factory spec is the practical replacement.

Will aftermarket work as well as original?

Yes — same V, Ah, terminal, connector spec. Equivalent performance and life.

Should I keep my legacy Powerware running or replace it?

Powerware electronics from the 2000s typically have 15+ years of design life. If the UPS still passes self-test and load test, replacing the battery is far cheaper than a new UPS.
