CyberPower CP series replacement batteries

The CyberPower CP series — including the CP685, CP1000, CP1350 and CP1500 AVR and PFC Sinewave LCD models — is a line-interactive UPS range for home offices, workstations and small networks. Battery type

CP models use 12 V VRLA batteries — smaller units (e.g. CP685AVR, CP1000AVRLCD) use a single 12 V battery, while higher-capacity units (e.g. CP1500AVRLCD, CP1500PFCLCD) use two 12 V batteries wired to 24 V. Match by your exact model number rather than by VA alone.

How to replace

CP batteries are user-replaceable:

1. Confirm the correct battery for your model.
2. Power down and unplug the UPS.
3. Open the battery compartment on the base or rear.
4. Disconnect the old battery's tabs and remove it.
5. Fit the new battery (or pair), reconnect observing polarity, and close the compartment.
6. Recharge and run a self-test.
