Replacement battery cartridges for CyberPower CP Series UPS, the consumer/SOHO line-interactive UPS with PFC sinewave output, AVR, and USB monitoring. Models supported include CP425G, CP485SL, CP500SL, CP550SLG, CP685AVR, CP685AVRG, CP800AVR, CP825LCD, CP825AVRLCD, CP850AVRLCD, CP1000PFCLCD, CP1000AVRLCD, CP1350PFCLCD, CP1500PFCLCD, CP1500AVRLCD, CP1500EPFCLCD plus CP-LCD compact rack and CP-EPS extended runtime variants.

Most CP-series UPS use CyberPower's RB1290X2 (4-cell 12V 9Ah), RB1270X2 (single 12V 7Ah), RB0690X2 (6V 9Ah), or RB1290X4 (8-cell 12V 9Ah) replacement battery codes, always confirm the RB-XXXX code printed on the existing battery cartridge before ordering. CP-PFC models use CyberPower's GreenPower UPS technology (sinewave output) and require matched-spec replacements.

CyberPower CP series replacement batteries

The CyberPower CP series, including the CP685, CP1000, CP1350 and CP1500 AVR and PFC Sinewave LCD models, is a line-interactive UPS range for home offices, workstations and small networks. Its sealed lead-acid (VRLA) battery wears out after about 3 to 5 years; a new battery restores full runtime. Use this page to find the right battery for your exact CP model.

Battery type

CP models use 12 V VRLA batteries, smaller units (e.g. CP685AVR, CP1000AVRLCD) use a single 12 V battery, while higher-capacity units (e.g. CP1500AVRLCD, CP1500PFCLCD) use two 12 V batteries wired to 24 V. Match by your exact model number rather than by VA alone.

How to identify the right battery

Find the model number on the rear or bottom label (e.g. CP1500AVRLCD). Select the matching battery below, or send us your model number and we'll confirm the correct pack.

OEM vs compatible aftermarket

How long does it last?

How to replace

CP batteries are user-replaceable:

  1. Confirm the correct battery for your model.
  2. Power down and unplug the UPS.
  3. Open the battery compartment on the base or rear.
  4. Disconnect the old battery's tabs and remove it.
  5. Fit the new battery (or pair), reconnect observing polarity, and close the compartment.
  6. Recharge and run a self-test.
