The GXT4 line is built on 12 V 9 Ah VRLA modules; the number of modules scales with the VA rating, and external battery cabinets extend runtime. How to replace

GXT4 battery trays are hot-swappable — the UPS keeps protecting the load:

1. Confirm the correct battery (or BATKIT) for your model.
2. Remove the front bezel and battery tray cover.
3. Disconnect the battery connector.
4. Slide the old pack out and the new one in.
5. Reconnect until secure and run a self-test.
