Battery type

The GXT3 line uses 12 V VRLA modules; the capacity (commonly 5 Ah, 7.2 Ah or 9 Ah) and the number of modules scale with the model — a GXT3-500 uses a small pack, while a GXT3-3000 uses a longer string, and external battery cabinets extend runtime. Match the battery to your exact model number (e.g. GXT3-1000RT120, GXT3-3000RT120) rather than by VA alone.

4. Slide the old pack out and the new one in.
5. Reconnect until secure and run a self-test.
