Tripp Lite Smart Online UPS systems offer high performance power protection ideal for critical server and network equipment in datacenters, computer rooms and network closets. Online, double-conversion Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) maintains perfectly regulated output power by continuously converting raw AC input to DC, then re-converting output back to AC. Fully regulated sine wave AC output with +/-2% voltage regulation powers network equipment continuously, even during severe brownouts and overvoltages, all without depleting UPS battery reserves. Maintains battery-derived AC output during power failures with zero transfer time. Extended runtime options available. Interactive LCD interface reports UPS operating mode, detailed UPS and site-power data, plus enables a variety of UPS setup and configuration options. Highly efficient operation in optional economy mode saves BTU heat output and energy costs. Network management interfaces support communications via USB, RS-232, contact-closure and optional SNMPWEBCARD network interface. Built-in DB9 port offers both enhanced RS-232 data and basic contact closure monitoring ability. HID-compliant USB interface enables integration with built-in power management and auto shutdown features of Windows and Mac OS X. Includes PowerAlert monitoring software and complete cabling. Emergency Power Off (EPO) interface. LED display reports UPS operating mode, line power availability, battery mode operation, inverter operation, ECO mode status and output power availability. LED/LCD display panel easily rotates for viewing in rackmount or tower configurations. Audible alarm with push-button momentary alarm-cancel and silent-mode LCD configuration options. Programmable self-test. Fault-tolerant auto-bypass mode. Battery independent restart. Field-replaceable, hot-swappable internal batteries and external battery packs.

750VA 675W 120V Battery Backup Protects Equipment against Damage, Downtime and Data Loss
This on-line double-conversion UPS system maintains perfect output by converting AC input to DC, then reconverting UPS output to fully regulated sine wave AC. Constant on-line operation completely isolates sensitive equipment from every power problem on the AC line. The SmartOnline ® SU750RTXLCD2U provides the highest level of power protection and battery backup for education, healthcare, military, government and other mission-critical IT applications where space is limited, but premium power reliability is essential.

Reliable, Expandable Battery Backup Keeps You Operational Through Power Outages
The field-replaceable, hot-swappable battery modules allow you to work through short power failures and give you enough time to safely save files and shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout. Zero transfer time between on-line and battery modes maintains continuous operation of connected equipment without interruption or rebooting. Extra runtime is available by connecting up to four optional extended battery modules (BP36RT, sold separately).

Optional LX Platform Network Management Card Allows Remote Access 24/7
The WEBCARDLXE network interface (sold separately) enables full remote configuration and management, including load shedding, reboots of connected equipment and safe shutdowns. The IP-based Auto Probe feature ensures continuous network uptime by communicating with other network devices, detecting lost connectivity and automatically rebooting IT equipment. Optional EnviroSense2 modules (E2MT, E2MTDO and E2MTHDI, all sold separately) provide a variety of environmental monitoring and control options.

NEMA 5-15R Outlets Protect Your Connected Components
Eight managed 5-15R outlets provide connected equipment with pure sine wave AC output and allow you to monitor power consumption down to the outlet group level. Power provided by these outlets is filtered to protect connected equipment against damaging surges and line noise. Four outlets are grouped into two programmable load banks that let you shed non-critical loads to extend runtime for critical loads. A cooling fan helps protect equipment from overheating.

Premium Protection from EMI/RFI Line Noise Helps Your Equipment Perform Better
This UPS system filters out disruptive electromagnetic and radio frequency interference that can inflict hardware damage or data loss. This EMI/RFI filtering also helps your connected components perform better and last longer.

Intuitive Front-Panel Interface for Convenient UPS Operation and Monitoring
The two-line front-panel LCD monitoring screen features 10 selectable screens that allow quick access to a wide range of detailed UPS and site power information. LEDs show UPS status: a green light means utility power is on, an orange light means the UPS is in battery or bypass mode and a red light indicates an active alarm or fault. The control panel rotates to accommodate both rack-mount and tower configurations.

    Frequently asked

    Before you order

How do I know this UPS will run my equipment?

Add up the wattage draw of every device you'll plug in (servers, switches, monitors). The UPS's wattage rating — not VA — is the number that matters. Aim for the UPS to run at 60–70% of capacity at full load: this gives headroom for inrush current and a meaningful runtime margin. Email us your equipment list and we'll size the right UPS within one business hour.

What's covered by the warranty, and how long does it last?

New units carry the full manufacturer warranty registered to you on receipt. The manufacturer handles claims directly via their North American support channel. Refurbished units are covered by our own 1-year UPSPLUSBATTERY warranty handled in-house in Canada.

Can I extend runtime beyond what's shown above?

Many Smart-UPS-class models accept an external battery pack (XBP) connected to the rear battery port. If this UPS shows "Extended Runtime Capable: Yes" in the spec grid above, an XBP is supported. Compatible XBPs and the runtime gain they deliver vary by model — contact us if you don't see the right XBP in our catalogue.
