The APC ACF501 is the roof fan tray APC specifies for NetShelter SX racks in the 600 mm wide format, which includes the AR3100 generation 2 42U enclosure. Its datasheet states the fit plainly: a low cost aid to heat removal for NetShelter SX 600 mm wide racks. The tray mounts in the roof of the enclosure and exhausts the hot air that collects above the top equipment, reinforcing the front-to-back airflow the SX doors are built around. It runs on 120V AC at 50/60 Hz and installs with the rack's own mounting provisions, keeping every rack unit free for equipment. When an SX rack runs warm but does not need refrigerated cooling, this tray is the manufacturer's intended next step, and it costs no floor space and no rack units. Ships from Canada.
