The Vertiv Liebert GXT5 Lithium-Ion UPS protects critical IT applications against outages and various power disturbances. This online UPS offers the highest level of power conditioning and battery backup in server rooms, network closets, and other edge or distributed IT locations. Lithium-Ion batteries require fewer battery replacements and last up to 3x as long as traditional VRLA batteries reducing maintenance, labor, and replacement costs (resulting in the lowest TCO). Internal batteries offer industry-leading runtime (up to 14 minutes at full load) to protect critical equipment during an unexpected power loss. Lithium-Ion battery technology offers better performance at higher temperatures, supports up to 10 times more discharge cycles, and delivers faster recharge times compared to VRLA batteries. Hot-swappable, user-replaceable batteries may increase the useable life of the UPS by allowing you to easily replace the batteries, if needed, without disrupting power to connected equipment. |

How do I know this UPS will run my equipment?
Add up the wattage draw of every device you'll plug in (servers, switches, monitors). The UPS's wattage rating — not VA — is the number that matters. Aim for the UPS to run at 60–70% of capacity at full load: this gives headroom for inrush current and a meaningful runtime margin. Email us your equipment list and we'll size the right UPS within one business hour.
What's covered by the warranty, and how long does it last?
New units carry the full manufacturer warranty registered to you on receipt. The manufacturer handles claims directly via their North American support channel. Refurbished units are covered by our own 1-year UPSPLUSBATTERY warranty handled in-house in Canada.
Can I extend runtime beyond what's shown above?
Many Smart-UPS-class models accept an external battery pack (XBP) connected to the rear battery port. If this UPS shows "Extended Runtime Capable: Yes" in the spec grid above, an XBP is supported.
