The Vertiv Liebert PSI5 Lithium-Ion uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is designed to safeguard critical equipment in edge and distributed IT applications. This 1500VA UPS offers more than double the battery life of a traditional VLRA UPS, and comes with a five-year advanced replacement warranty. This Lithium-Ion battery backup also includes automatic voltage regulation (AVR) technology to further extend battery life and provides premium protection from power disturbances. This line interactive UPS system provides reliable protection and pure sine wave output on battery for servers and networking equipment. With up to 17.7 minutes of runtime at half load and 7.5 minutes at full load, this reliable UPS system provides plenty of runtime on battery during an outage for an orderly shutdown. It comes with a rotating LCD display to allow both rack and tower configurations. It allows remote management and environmental monitoring with additional communication card and sensors. |

How do I know this UPS will run my equipment?
Add up the wattage draw of every device you'll plug in (servers, switches, monitors). The UPS's wattage rating — not VA — is the number that matters. Aim for the UPS to run at 60–70% of capacity at full load: this gives headroom for inrush current and a meaningful runtime margin. Email us your equipment list and we'll size the right UPS within one business hour.
What's covered by the warranty, and how long does it last?
New units carry the full manufacturer warranty registered to you on receipt. The manufacturer handles claims directly via their North American support channel. Refurbished units are covered by our own 1-year UPSPLUSBATTERY warranty handled in-house in Canada.
Can I extend runtime beyond what's shown above?
Many Smart-UPS-class models accept an external battery pack (XBP) connected to the rear battery port. If this UPS shows "Extended Runtime Capable: Yes" in the spec grid above, an XBP is supported.
