The Tripp Lite PDU1220 is a 2.4 kW single-phase 120V basic rack PDU in a 1U chassis. It feeds thirteen NEMA 5-15/20R outlets, twelve at the rear and one at the front, from a NEMA 5-20P input on a 15 foot cord, which reaches the wall receptacle from the top or bottom of most racks. The switchless design prevents accidental shutdown, and the reversible all-metal housing installs with the outlets facing whichever way the cabling runs; it also mounts on a wall or under a counter for bench and AV use. As the distribution layer beside a UPS, it turns one UPS output into an organized bank of outlets for servers, switches and network gear, with the cord length to reach across a full height rack.
