The Tripp Lite BP48V48RT4U is a 48V DC external battery module for select Tripp Lite UPS systems, including the SmartPro SMART2200 and SMART3000 rack-mountable models. Its 4U reduced-depth chassis is made for installations where rack space behind the rails is limited, such as wall-adjacent rows and shallow cabinets, while still holding a full runtime battery string. The module connects to the UPS battery port, charges from the UPS, and its sealed VRLA batteries are hot-swappable, so cartridge replacement never interrupts the load. Replacement cartridges are available separately in our UPS Batteries catalogue. Choose this pack when a SmartPro system must carry a server or POS load through a long utility outage and the standard-depth pack will not fit. Ships from Canada.
