Marketing Information:
Tripp Lite's SMARTINT2200VS intelligent, line interactive tower UPS prevents data loss, downtime and equipment damage due to power outages, voltage fluctuations and transient surges. Large internal batteries offer 19 minutes half load runtime and 7 minutes at full load. Maintains regulated 230V nominal output without using battery power during brownouts and overvoltages from 151 to 282V. 2200VA power handling capability offers compatibility with sensitive electronic applications. Includes a total of 9 outlets with 3 load banks (2 outlets each). Supports simultaneous remote monitoring of UPS and site power conditions via built-in USB and DB9 monitoring ports. Built-in accessory slot supports SNMP with optional SNMPWEBCARD adapter. Multi-function audible alarms and set of 5 front panel LEDs offer at-a-glance notification of UPS and line power status.

Technical specifications
How long it'll keep your equipment up.
Manufacturer-specified runtime at typical loads. Real-world figures depend on battery age, ambient temperature, and load profile.
Need more runtime? This UPS accepts external battery packs (XBPs). Contact us about XBP options →
Estimate based on manufacturer-specified runtime curve. Real-world runtime varies with battery age, ambient temperature, and load profile.
Compatible accessories
Network management cards, rail kits, environmental sensors — verified compatible with this UPS line.
Replacement batteries that fit this exact UPS
A line-interactive UPS typically needs new batteries every 3–5 years. We stock the matching replacement cartridges — Canadian warranty.
Before you order
How do I know this UPS will run my equipment?
Add up the wattage draw of every device you'll plug in (servers, switches, monitors). The UPS's wattage rating — not VA — is the number that matters. Aim for the UPS to run at 60–70% of capacity at full load: this gives headroom for inrush current and a meaningful runtime margin. Email us your equipment list and we'll size the right UPS within one business hour.
What's covered by the warranty, and how long does it last?
New units carry the full manufacturer warranty registered to you on receipt. The manufacturer handles claims directly via their North American support channel. Refurbished units are covered by our own 1-year UPSPLUSBATTERY warranty handled in-house in Canada.
Can I extend runtime beyond what's shown above?
Many Smart-UPS-class models accept an external battery pack (XBP) connected to the rear battery port. If this UPS shows "Extended Runtime Capable: Yes" in the spec grid above, an XBP is supported. Compatible XBPs and the runtime gain they deliver vary by model — contact us if you don't see the right XBP in our catalogue.
