Extra runtime is available by connecting optional extended battery modules (BP48V60RT3UTAA, sold separately).

Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) Corrects Low- and High-Voltage Conditions
Built-in AVR corrects abnormal voltage conditions without using the battery. The SM5000RT3UTAA maintains regulated 208/120V nominal output during brownouts and over-voltages from 151V to 260V while keeping the battery fully charged and ready to take over in case of power failure.

The IP-based Auto Probe feature ensures network uptime by communicating with other network devices and automatically rebooting IT equipment when a loss of connectivity is detected.

Managed NEMA Outlets Protect Your Connected Components
One L14-30R, one L6-30R, two 5-20R, and ten 5-15R outlets provide connected equipment with pure sine wave AC output and allow you to monitor total power consumption. Power provided by these outlets is filtered to protect connected equipment against damaging surges and line noise. Eight 5-15R outlets are individually programmable load banks that let you shed non-critical loads to extend runtime for critical loads. Rear cooling fans help protect the UPS from overheating.
