Not every UPS ends up in a rack. Some slide into four-post rails, some hang on two-post telco frames, some bolt to a wall, and the heavy ones anchor to the floor for seismic zones. This collection holds the Xtreme Power Conversion mounting hardware for their UPS families, plus the enclosures and anchor kits the modular systems need.

How to choose

Start with the frame you have. Four-post server racks take 4-post rails; two-post telco frames take 2-post rails or shelves. The kits are not interchangeable, and the wrong one turns into a drill project.

Check depth before weight. A rail kit holds a given chassis at a given depth range. Measure the rack's usable depth against the UPS, then trust the kit's rating rather than improvising brackets.

Wall mounts are for the small units. The brackets in this line fit the compact families, the P80 to P90L series and the T91 700 to 1500 VA. Large UPS units belong on the floor or in the rack, not on drywall.

Seismic zones need anchors. In parts of Canada the building code requires anchored equipment. The SEIS kits bolt specific XPC frames to the slab, sized per enclosure.

Mind the weight. A rail or bracket kit carries a specific chassis, and a UPS with internal batteries weighs more than it looks. Check the kit against the model, not against a similar-looking neighbour, and never mix manufacturers' parts on one installation.

Modular systems need their enclosures. The M90S and M90C modular frames live in slot enclosures, and the rack-mount kits put those enclosures in standard racks. Plan the slots, then the rails.

Frequently asked questions

Will a 2-post rail kit fit a 4-post rack?
No. Use the 4-post kit for server racks; the 2-post rails and shelves are for telco-style frames.

What depth rack do the rails need?
Each kit states its chassis and depth range. Check both against your rack before ordering; send us the model if it is close.

Can I wall-mount any UPS?
Only the compact families listed here have brackets. Floor-standing and modular systems stay off walls.

What does a seismic kit do?
It anchors the enclosure to the building structure so an earthquake cannot walk it off its position. The kits are matched to specific XPC frames.

Do the enclosures include rails?
Slot enclosures and rail kits are separate parts; the M90S-RAIL2S pairs with the M90S-ENC2 enclosure, for example.

Do the kits include screws?
The factory kits ship with the fasteners their design calls for. If your rack has threaded holes or you are mounting into a telco frame, confirm the hardware matches before installation day.

Can I move a kit between UPS models?
Only within the family the kit lists. A rail kit that carried a P80 will not carry a P91 chassis; the mounting points and weight differ.
