A UPS is a system, not a box. Xtreme Power Conversion (XPC) frames grow with external battery packs, get serviced through bypass switches, distribute power through their PDU line, and get watched by environmental sensors. This collection holds the accessory side of that ecosystem: the parts that extend, mount, feed and protect an XPC UPS through its service life.

Everything here is built for specific XPC families: J60 and J90 compact UPS, P80, P90, P90L and P91 single-phase systems, T91 and TX91 online units, and the M90, M90S, X90 and E91 modular and three-phase frames, from battery trays to 600 A maintenance bypass switches.

How to choose

Start from the UPS model on the label. XPC accessories are keyed to families: a P91 rail kit does not fit a P80, and an M90 battery tray belongs in an M90, M90U or M90-BOS frame. Write down the exact model before you shop.

Runtime packs follow the frame, not the wish. Each external pack or tray adds a fixed increment for its family. To reach a runtime target, tell us the UPS model and your load in watts, and we count the packs.

Bypass switches are sized in amps. The maintenance bypass line runs from modest single-phase units up to the 600 A, 240 V three-breaker switch. Match the switch to the UPS input current and have an electrician wire it.

PDUs and sensors round out the rack. The J40 switched PDU line lets you power-cycle locked-up gear remotely, and the EMD sensor reports temperature where the UPS sits, which is often not where you sit.

Cabinets are modular for a reason. The M90-BC cabinet family and E91 battery packs stack runtime in steps; buying the matching cable kit and anchor kits at the same time saves a second order.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know which battery tray fits?
The tray or pack lists its frames. M90-BATT fits M90, M90U and M90-BOS; EBP09 packs fit E91 10 to 20 kVA. When in doubt, send us the UPS model.

Do I need the matching cable kit?
For E91 battery cabinets, yes: the E91-CBL connects the UPS to the cabinet. Buying the cabinet without the cable saves nothing.

What does a maintenance bypass do?
It routes power around the UPS so the UPS can be serviced or replaced without dropping the load. The three-breaker design routes the load between the utility and bypass paths for service.

Can the sensor work without the UPS?
The EMD line reports through compatible XPC UPS and network cards; pair it with the UPS model you have.

Are the battery packs hot-swappable?
Check the manual for your frame: trays inside modular frames are built for hot-swap, and external packs follow the connection sequence documented for the family.

Do battery cabinets include the batteries?
The bundle part numbers list exactly what ships in them; the M90-BC bundles state their tray count. When the listing is the cabinet alone, the trays are separate parts in this collection.
