Step 1 — UPS model number

UPS model number is on a label on the side, back, or underside. Write it down exactly — including suffixes. APC SMT1500RM2UC and SMT1500RMI2U take the same APCRBC133 cartridge but the suffix difference matters for some models.

Step 2 — Battery part number on unit label
