The Vertiv Liebert PSA5 uninterruptible power supply (UPS) provides reliable and cost-effective protection for household or business electronics. This 1000VA UPS protects against power surges, brownouts, blackouts or drops in voltage. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) extends battery life. It is easy to set up and ideal for computers, modems/routers, home surveillance, entertainment equipment, gaming systems and other electronics. This battery backup provides ample run time to save work in progress and allows orderly shutdown of your critical equipment. The UPS is connected to the IT device via USB cable and comes with Vertiv Power Assist, a free software to enable controlled shutdown, notify users of an event, display key metrics, and log historical data. This Energy Star certified UPS meets eco-friendly requirements and helps in cost savings. It has a 3-year Vertiv UPS warranty. |

How do I know this UPS will run my equipment?
Add up the wattage draw of every device you'll plug in (servers, switches, monitors). The UPS's wattage rating — not VA — is the number that matters. Aim for the UPS to run at 60–70% of capacity at full load: this gives headroom for inrush current and a meaningful runtime margin. What's covered by the warranty, and how long does it last?
New units carry the full manufacturer warranty registered to you on receipt. The manufacturer handles claims directly via their North American support channel. Refurbished units are covered by our own 1-year UPSPLUSBATTERY warranty handled in-house in Canada.
Can I extend runtime beyond what's shown above?
